We’re excited to announce our new health partnership with Virginia Mason Franciscan Health! As a key health resource for our Commissioners, Virginia Mason Franciscan Health collaborates with the Seattle Seahawks annually to promote the "Crucial Catch: Intercept Cancer" initiative. This campaign focuses on raising awareness about the importance of cancer screenings and early detection.

Now, Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is expanding its efforts by partnering with the Seattle Sports Commission to enhance access to vital resources for early detection.

As the charitable affiliate of the Seattle Sports Commission, the SSC Foundation empowers play by supporting and building capacity in programs dedicated to equitable access to sports for underserved youth in Washington State.

A donation will help fund programs like the Pro Sports Sampling Camp that provides opportunity for local kids to engage with area sports teams and athletes while trying out a variety of sports. The Foundation, in partnership with King County Play Equity Coalition, also recognizes a Sports Equity and Inclusion Award recipient each year at the Sports Commission's annual Sports Star of the Year Awards.
